Nanoscale Processes in Geological Materials
We will have our next FOR 741 Seminar on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, 2012 at the Department of Lithosphere Research, University of Vienna. This is just Friday and Saturday before EGU 2012, which starts on Sunday, 22. Our meeting begins at Friday afternoon and will terminate Saturday, late afternoon.
We will have one or two invited Guest Speakers (yet to be confirmed).

Title of thesis: Reaction rim growth in the systems MgO-SiO2 and CaO-MgO-SiO2: diffusion pathways and the effect of water.
Since October, 2011, Bastian is Post-Doc at the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, University of Manchester
